How do I search YouTube comments by keyword?
Paste a public video link into Tell Me’s YouTube comment finder and choose Find comments. Enter a word or phrase, then choose Search. Try a product name, a topic such as “budget”, or a request such as “part 2” to find audience feedback worth a reply or a follow-up video.
Can I search YouTube comments by author?
Yes. Load the video and enter the commenter’s name in the search field. Tell Me searches comment text and names together. Choose Next when it appears to keep looking through a larger conversation.
Can I read replies to YouTube comments?
Yes. Open a comment thread to read its public replies, and choose Load more replies when it appears to continue the conversation. Search also checks the replies included in YouTube’s thread previews; opening a thread loads its complete public replies.
Does the comment finder work with YouTube Shorts and livestreams?
Yes. Tell Me supports public YouTube videos, Shorts, and finished livestream replays with comments enabled. It searches the video’s comment section, which is separate from live chat.
How many YouTube comments can I search?
Comments open on a separate page, with 50 recent comments at a time. Use Next and Previous to browse, or search by keyword or name. Large conversations are searched in batches; continue with Next when more comments are available. A first page of results is not the whole conversation.
Can I find deleted or hidden YouTube comments?
No. Tell Me cannot recover deleted comments or show comments held for review. The finder reads public comments through YouTube’s official Data API, so videos with comments disabled or unavailable to the tool cannot be searched.
Is Tell Me’s YouTube comment finder free?
Yes. Searching a public video’s comments with Tell Me is free. You do not need an account, a credit card, a browser extension, or a connection to your YouTube channel.

The $100 setup looks as good as the $1,000 one. Who else wants a budget breakdown?
@sam
Unpopular opinion: audio matters more than camera quality. Agree?
@jules
That before-and-after sold me on the lighting upgrade.
